Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual psychological and academic evaluations to facilitate student achievement.
- Collaborate with educators to design and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs.
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions that address both the emotional and academic challenges faced by students.
- Assist in the formulation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
- Support educators and staff in the application of behavioral management strategies that contribute to a constructive learning environment.
- Maintain comprehensive and current documentation regarding student progress and the interventions applied.
- Strong proficiency in operating effectively within a virtual setting, coupled with excellent communication capabilities.
- Familiarity with the processes surrounding IEP meetings and special education protocols.
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology is required.
- A valid license as a School Psychologist in Virginia.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school environment.
