Key Responsibilities
- Provide stimulating instruction in core subjects such as Math, English, and Science for students aged 10-18.
- Manage a diverse caseload of students with moderate to severe disabilities, delivering personalized support to facilitate their growth and success.
- Collaborate effectively with a paraeducator and fellow special education teachers to optimize student learning outcomes.
- Craft Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and develop lesson plans utilizing the Enrich platform.
- Implement both direct and indirect services tailored to the varied needs of students.
- Strong understanding of special education methodologies and practices.
- Ability to impart engaging instruction across core subjects (Math, English, Science).
- Experience in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Proficient in leveraging technology for effective remote teaching.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid Special Education Teaching License in Colorado.
- Prior experience working with students who have moderate to severe disabilities.
- Comfort with remote teaching environments and technology integration.
- Familiarity with the Enrich IEP system is advantageous, but not mandatory.
