Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous support and necessary accommodations/modifications to facilitate student success in virtual learning.
• Leverage educational technology and online learning platforms to enhance student engagement and progress.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of student progress, documentation, and compliance.
• Conduct virtual consultations with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams to discuss student achievements and requirements.
• Offer guidance to families, equipping them with strategies to foster learning at home.
• Participate actively in professional development and collaborative team meetings to stay abreast of best practices in special education and online instruction.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Proficiency in virtual learning platforms and digital classroom management tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven capacity to work effectively in a remote team setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Ohio teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably with experience in special education.
