Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customized, high-quality instruction to students with special needs in a virtual classroom.
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the specific requirements of each student.
- Promote both academic and social achievement through a diverse array of teaching methodologies and resources.
- Maintain consistent communication with students, parents, and school personnel to monitor progress and ensure optimal support.
- Work collaboratively with a clinical and technical team to address student challenges and deliver timely interventions.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Proficiency in employing innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Familiarity with providing virtual therapy services is a plus.
- Access to a reliable computer and high-speed internet connection (Note: Chromebooks and tablets are not permitted for this role).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching License.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in educational environments.
