Key Responsibilities
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech therapy services to K-12 students, focusing primarily on those with mild-to-moderate needs.
- Implement tailored speech therapy approaches, encompassing articulation, receptive, and expressive modalities, to meet diverse student requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each student’s progress and needs.
- Actively participate in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process by conducting assessments, evaluations, and attending relevant meetings.
- Maintain high-quality, consistent therapy services across your assigned caseload.
- Master's degree (MA or MS) in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Alaska, or willingness to obtain one.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a school-based setting.
- Strong communication skills and capacity for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Flexibility in adapting therapy techniques to address unique student needs.
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is essential.
- Valid licensure in Alaska, or the commitment to acquire it.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience within a school environment.
