Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of students’ speech and language needs, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual requirements.
- Deliver engaging and effective virtual therapy sessions using teletherapy tools, ensuring a high standard of care and student progress.
- Monitor and document each student’s development, adapting treatment plans as necessary to promote continuous improvement.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, teachers, and school staff to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, ensuring compliance with required documentation and regulations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a virtual environment.
- Strong organizational abilities, adept at managing multiple tasks and schedules effectively.
- Experience with teletherapy tools is highly advantageous.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification and a current state license.
- At least 2 years of experience as an SLP, with prior teletherapy experience being a significant advantage.
