Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine students’ speech and language capabilities.
- Create personalized therapy plans that align with each student's individual needs and objectives.
- Deliver direct therapy services focusing on articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to incorporate therapy targets into learning environments.
- Implement evidence-based strategies and interactive activities to facilitate speech and language growth.
- Monitor student progress, refine therapy plans as necessary, and maintain accurate documentation of sessions.
- Contribute to IEP meetings, sharing insights regarding students’ communication requirements.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in providing speech-language therapy in educational or pediatric settings.
- Familiarity with widely utilized assessment tools and therapeutic methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with students and educational stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in teletherapy or online service delivery (preferred).
- Understanding of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and assistive technology (preferred).
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Relevant experience in a school or pediatric therapy setting.
