Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging online instruction to students possessing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Create, implement, and uphold individualized IEPs to ensure that educational objectives are met.
- Regularly evaluate and track students’ progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Collaborate proactively with onsite personnel, faculty, and other professionals to meet student needs effectively.
- Facilitate virtual IEP meetings with families and stakeholders, fostering an inclusive and collaborative atmosphere.
- Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to assess and monitor student progress efficiently.
- Experience with online teaching platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

- A Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a relevant field is required; a Master's Degree in Education is preferred.
- Possession of Ohio State Certification for Special Education is mandatory.
- Prior experience as a Special Education teacher is essential; remote teaching experience is highly desirable.

- Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Work Hours: Full-time (35-40 hours per week), which includes indirect hours
- Platform: Zoom Plus (HIPAA/FERPA Compliant)
- Hourly Rate: \(28 - \)35 per hour, dependent on experience
- Start Date: Immediate, with opportunities available through the end of the current school year and potentially into the 2025-2026 school year
- School Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (local time)
