Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with fellow educators, therapists, and other professionals to promote individualized learning objectives for students.
- Assist in therapy sessions and conduct follow-up assessments to monitor student progress.
- Design and execute programs tailored to functional living skills as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide both technical and clinical guidance to ensure that students have access to the necessary tools and resources for their success.
- Active Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) license in South Dakota.
- Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms is advantageous.
- A minimum of one year of relevant educational experience is preferred but not mandatory.
