Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging virtual classrooms by developing and delivering innovative, interactive lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Create, implement, and frequently evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure they effectively support students’ academic journeys.
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents and school personnel to assess and adjust educational strategies, ensuring each student receives optimal support.
- Keep meticulous records of student performance and progress, making timely adjustments to learning plans as necessary.
- Participate proactively in virtual IEP meetings, collaborating with educational teams to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Special Education Teacher.
- Possession of an active Special Education Teacher license in New York State.
- Liability insurance is required to qualify for this contract position.
- Proficient in leveraging virtual teaching platforms and technology to create compelling learning experiences.
- Ability to work independently, as this is a 1099 contract role without company-provided benefits.
