- Deliver SAT/ACT test preparation instruction, concentrating on English and Math concepts, test-taking tactics, and overall exam readiness.
- Employ engaging educational technologies and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning experiences.
- Customize lesson plans to address the unique needs of each student, promoting their progress and success.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to refine and enhance teaching methodologies and curriculum content.
- Maintain ongoing communication with students, parents, and staff to monitor student progress and provide necessary support.
- A strong commitment to education and student achievement.
- Excellent communication skills for effective engagement with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility to allocate 4-8 hours per week for tutoring based on individual availability and student requirements.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in tutoring or teaching, ideally with high school students.
- Proficiency in teaching all sections of the SAT/ACT (Math up to Algebra II, English, Reading Comprehension, and Writing).
- Ability to maintain a tutoring commitment until mid-June 2025.
- Access to reliable transportation, as public transit cannot be the sole means of travel.
