Job Overview

We are in search of a passionate and committed Verbal Tutor to deliver exceptional instruction in reading comprehension, writing skills, and literary interpretation. This position provides a unique opportunity to work remotely while making a significant impact on students' academic journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate high-quality one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Assist students in enhancing their confidence and proficiency in verbal subjects.
• Tailor instructional strategies to meet the specific needs of each learner, ensuring personalized engagement.
  
  

Required Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in critical reading and writing, including a strong command of grammar, syntax, and literary analysis.
• Ability to convey SAT-level material, supported by the achievement of a 700 score on the Reading/Writing portion of a sample SAT test administered at our center.
• Background in English/American literature with the capability to guide literary interpretation effectively.
• A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young learners, with prior tutoring or teaching experience being advantageous.

• A bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, or a related discipline is required.
