Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Deliver direct therapy services through both individual and group sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to enhance students’ communication skills.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adapting therapy plans to ensure continuous growth.
- Provide guidance and recommendations for integrating speech and language strategies within the classroom environment.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of individualized educational plans.
- Educate staff and parents on effective speech-language techniques and resources for implementation at school and home.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
- Competence in effectively interacting with a diverse range of students, educators, and families.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Preferred experience in a school setting or with pediatric cases.
- Familiarity with virtual environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
