Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive semi-annual projections for cash flows, statutory reserves (Stat), risk-based capital (RBC), and tax for fixed annuities (FA) and fixed index annuities (FIA).
- Partner with teams such as valuation, pricing, ALM, and expense management to integrate their insights into financial projections.
- Synthesize projections across all product lines and business units, including ALM, expense, and treasury teams.
- Deliver financial projections to essential stakeholders, including tax, treasury, ALM, and risk management teams.
- Analyze and clarify variances between actual and anticipated financial outcomes, implementing necessary adjustments.
- Identify opportunities to enhance modeling processes and improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of modeling processes and recommend potential enhancements.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while adjusting to changing business priorities.
- A positive mindset and eagerness to learn and advance within your actuarial career.
- A bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of one passed actuarial exam administered by the Society of Actuaries.

This position can be filled at either the Actuarial Assistant or Actuarial Associate level, contingent upon exam progress:
- Assistant Level (1-3 Exams): Base salary ranging from \(72,000 to \)82,000, in addition to performance-based incentives.
- Associate Level (4 Exams): Base salary ranging from \(82,000 to \)95,000, plus performance-based incentives.
- Flexibility in your work environment, allowing for remote or in-office options according to your preferences.
