Job Overview

The President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) serves as the principal leader tasked with steering the strategic vision, growth, and overall success of our esteemed organization. This pivotal role encompasses the oversight of all operational, financial, and strategic initiatives to ensure the fulfillment of our mission and the health needs of the community we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the daily operations of the organization in accordance with its mission, vision, and values.
  • Formulate and execute both short-term and long-term strategic objectives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and industry standards, providing oversight to regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Trustees to report on services, financial status, and overall organizational performance.
  • Develop, manage, and supervise the creation of budgets and financial strategies, ensuring the integrity of all financial activities.
  • Lead and motivate the medical staff, promoting an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Engage with community leaders to ensure the organization meets the health needs of the communities we serve.
  • Represent the organization within the broader healthcare community, cultivating partnerships and driving growth.
  • Spearhead efforts to achieve financial and operational targets while prioritizing high-quality patient care and service.

Required Skills

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (or commitment to obtain within 12-18 months).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior-level healthcare management.
  • Proven experience in leading both hospital-based and ancillary healthcare services, such as skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient clinics.
  • Preferable background in rural healthcare executive leadership.
  • Active engagement in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Residence within the primary service area or willingness to relocate within one year.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a relevant field (or intent to obtain within 12-18 months).
  • At least 5 years of senior-level healthcare management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing healthcare services, including hospitals and outpatient clinics.
