Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the strategic planning, design, and implementation of educational and experiential learning initiatives for healthcare personnel.
- Perform comprehensive needs assessments to ascertain the clinical and professional development requirements of the nursing workforce.
- Engage actively in nursing leadership endeavors, taking on the role of Executive Sponsor for critical initiatives such as the Professional Advancement Model and the Nurse Residency Program.
- Supervise the student affiliation protocol and act as the Executive Sponsor for the Professional Development Council.
- Collaborate with fellow nursing leaders to foster the skills and advancement of the nursing staff.
- Exceptional leadership and management capabilities
- Proficient in conducting thorough needs assessments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in educational program development
- Collaborative approach in engaging with nursing leadership
- Master's degree in Nursing or Education is required (Bachelor's in Nursing and a Master’s in Education are also acceptable).
- Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
- At least five (5) years of progressive management experience, including a minimum of three (3) years in a middle-management or adult education teaching capacity.
- Active involvement in professional associations is highly regarded.
