Key Responsibilities
- Lead and cultivate a supportive team environment focused on client care and accountability.
- Supervise and mentor a team of clinicians, focusing on improving productivity, efficiency, and the overall quality of service delivery.
- Collaborate with fellow Clinical Managers and staff to ensure seamless coverage and crisis support across various teams and programs.
- Conduct thorough audits of client records to maintain compliance with established quality standards, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations set by governing bodies, including the District of Columbia Departments of Behavioral Health and Health.
- Provide training and supervision to clinical staff, fostering their professional development and enhancing service quality.
- Manage personnel processes, including hiring, evaluations, and developing performance improvement plans in conjunction with Human Resources.
- Contribute to the innovation and implementation of treatment services aimed at improving client outcomes.
- Engage in team meetings, committees, and initiatives that support retention and morale among staff members.
- Occasionally provide direct clinical services as needed.
- Assist the team in achieving or surpassing budgeted service expectations.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of client records and documentation.
- Aid in the preparations for accreditation, licensure, certification, and audits to guarantee ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate to boost customer satisfaction for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in developing new business opportunities, referrals, and partnerships.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
- Proficient in clinical documentation and compliance standards, including Medicaid regulations.
- Capable of analyzing performance metrics and supporting budgetary objectives.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health, or a related field.
- Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington, DC.
- 2-3 years of experience in the mental health field with an emphasis on community-based services.
