Key Responsibilities
- Administer the clinical treatment program in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Provide supervision and direction to clinical staff, ensuring compliance with licensure standards and funding criteria.
- Monitor clinical treatment and documentation, offering constructive feedback to ensure alignment with care standards, billing, and insurance requirements.
- Lead therapeutic activities and interventions, managing incidents involving disturbed or aggressive behavior as needed.
- Assist in the training, performance evaluation, and ongoing support of staff to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize staffing and resource allocation.
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities for both yourself and the clinical team.
- Address client concerns and operational issues, fostering a supportive and positive environment.
- Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program; identify areas for enhancement and facilitate necessary changes.
- Extensive experience in managing and developing clinical teams.
- Proficient counseling, documentation, and assessment capabilities.
- Strong aptitude for supervising and training clinical staff.
- In-depth knowledge of substance abuse counseling and therapeutic community principles.
- Familiarity with insurance, Medicaid, and state funding criteria.
- Competence in Microsoft Office, including Outlook Calendar.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Education: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in counseling and program administration related to addiction; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Licensure: Required to be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
