Key Responsibilities
- Provide both clinical and administrative supervision to Substance Use Disorder Therapists, cultivating a collaborative and professional atmosphere.
- Spearhead the design and execution of clinical programming for outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Collaborate closely with departments such as Medical Records and Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement to ensure comprehensive training and adherence to clinical documentation standards.
- Monitor staff performance regularly, assessing outcomes and refining strategies as necessary to uphold quality care standards.
- Provide continuous feedback and support to staff, fostering professional development and encouraging positive practices.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance metrics, reports, and areas for enhancement.
- Ensure staff receives appropriate training, including orientation and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Oversee policy revisions and ensure compliance with established procedures, productivity benchmarks, and regulatory standards.
- Review employee timesheets, authorize overtime, and evaluate staff performance.
- Participate in recruitment efforts to attract top talent.
- Drive program improvements by addressing overarching concerns and collaborating with executive leadership on resource distribution.
- Play an active role in assessing and setting program goals in partnership with the Chief Clinical Officer.
- Manage referrals and allocate cases to the right staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Ensure program compliance with regulatory standards, including CARF accreditation, and assist with external reporting requirements.
- Strong clinical supervision and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of substance use disorders and relevant treatment methodologies.
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology, hospice care, and home health settings is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Master's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or a related field.
- LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent clinical license is required.
- At least 2 years of preferred clinical supervision experience.
- License supervision designation is preferred.
