Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete accounts payable process, encompassing verification, coding, data entry, payment approvals, and meticulous record-keeping.
- Manage bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in timesheet submissions and documentation while promptly addressing payroll-related inquiries.
- Provide financial support through reconciliations, inventory adjustments, and processing raw material purchase orders.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendor and employee inquiries concerning invoices, expenses, and check requests, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Prepare and scrutinize financial reports to ensure adherence to accounting standards and compliance.
- Execute administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, mailing, and front desk support as required.
- Participate in software implementation projects and contribute to special accounting assignments as they arise.
- An Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and payroll processing.
- Familiarity with financial concepts and bookkeeping practices is preferred.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation tasks.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience in the construction or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
