Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Chief Development & Marketing Officer to formulate and implement strategic fundraising initiatives aimed at achieving a $2.6 million fundraising target.
- Oversee the comprehensive management of a high-level donor portfolio, focusing on moves management and ensuring a robust pipeline of prospective donors.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with donors across various segments, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Lead and manage campaigns and partnerships, particularly with corporate entities, to expand our network and diversify funding resources.
- Develop compelling and impactful communications for donor stewardship, effectively showcasing the significance of their contributions.
- Mentor and guide a talented team of fundraisers, fostering their professional development and enhancing team performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing and Program departments to align fundraising initiatives with broader organizational goals.
- Contribute as a member of the senior management team to strategic planning and organizational decision-making processes.
- Promote a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the team and throughout the organization.
- Approximately 10 years of experience in fundraising, particularly in a management role.
- Strong track record of successfully securing significant gifts and building meaningful relationships with donors.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with donor CRM systems is advantageous.
- Innovative mindset with a genuine commitment to the organization’s mission and the ability to convey its impact to potential donors.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Demonstrated success in securing funding and fostering impactful relationships with high-level donors.
