Job Overview

As the Executive Director at Grand Arbor, you will play a pivotal role in driving the overall success of our esteemed senior housing community. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise personnel while modeling best practices in staff development and fostering a positive workplace culture through effective communication and ongoing training.
  • Uphold a high standard of care, ensuring residents’ physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being in collaboration with clinical staff.
  • Manage operational policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance and strategic objectives tailored to community needs.
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting and resource allocation, to meet both operational and care requirements.
  • Encourage open communication and teamwork across all levels of the organization while leading initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership across the housing division to maintain consistent processes and actively participate in community engagement activities.

  • Strong competencies in healthcare management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, particularly within senior housing.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Assisted Living or Housing, with a preference for candidates holding a degree in nursing, social services, mental health, or management.
  • Completion of an executive training program (1000 hours) is highly regarded.
  • Successful passing of a state-required background check.
  • Physical capability to perform the duties required of the position.
  • Proficiency in English, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking.
