Key Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to guarantee the financial health of the theatre by building relationships with donors and sponsors while spearheading fundraising activities.
  • Supervise daily operations, ensuring efficient facility management, scheduling, and staff oversight.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory standards, including tax obligations and safety protocols.
  • Cultivate a supportive and inclusive workplace culture by guiding and encouraging staff, and facilitating feedback and collaboration.
  • Manage volunteer engagement, making certain that all volunteers feel appreciated and integral to the organization.
  • Maintain operational transparency, creativity, and productivity, thereby fostering a positive working environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the artistic director to ensure that organizational objectives align with artistic visions, updating strategic plans as needed.

  • Strong financial acuity, demonstrated through experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Proven track record and enthusiasm for fundraising and fostering community relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities, with a talent for inspiring diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in arts administration, business management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in arts management, preferably in leadership roles within theatre or performing arts settings.
  • Experience collaborating with boards of directors, volunteers, and various support networks.
