Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and empathetic Clinic Director to lead our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), overseeing daily operations and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care. This pivotal role demands a dynamic leader committed to enhancing the lives of individuals battling substance use disorders through innovative and compassionate treatment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the clinic, ensuring optimal daily functionality.
• Provide direct supervision and mentorship to clinic personnel, cultivating a collaborative and effective work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with community stakeholders, including social services, health departments, and law enforcement.
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting for payroll, supplies, and operational expenses.
• Administer financial transactions, including daily cash handling and management of methadone/suboxone inventories.
• Ensure proper licensing and credentialing for all clinical personnel, including counselors, nurses, and physicians.
• Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure adherence to accreditation standards and regulatory obligations.
• Actively engage in audits and accreditation processes, championing excellence in service delivery.
• Organize staff meetings, promote training opportunities, and support initiatives for professional development.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong leadership capabilities paired with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in addiction counseling and supervising a team is highly preferred.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in clinical care services for individuals with substance use disorders, alongside 3 years of administrative or supervisory experience in a human services context.
• Must possess a valid LPC, LCP, LCSW, LMFT, or RN license in the state of Virginia.
