Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a seasoned and proactive Delivery Director to lead and manage the delivery of transformative services to our internal and external clients. In this pivotal leadership role, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive growth and ensure service excellence, particularly focusing on Digital Transformation initiatives tailored for Federal Civilian clients. The successful candidate will possess a unique combination of strategic leadership, relationship management, and operational acumen to guarantee the effective execution of a diverse portfolio of programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with essential stakeholders in government entities, especially within the Federal Civilian landscape (e.g., IRS, DHS, GSA, DOC).
  • Act as the primary liaison for executive-level relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and the attainment of project goals while nurturing long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee the effective delivery of programs, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to established timelines and project milestones, with regular performance reporting to senior leadership.
  • Direct the implementation of governance frameworks and integrated service management systems to ensure compliance, risk management, and optimal project delivery.
  • Guarantee the seamless integration of technological solutions into service delivery, while identifying opportunities to enhance existing technical assets within broader offerings and working alongside product teams to promote innovation and growth.
  • Manage the financial performance of programs and portfolios, aligning with organizational financial targets while collaborating with leadership to set annual benchmarks and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Partner with business development leaders to drive growth objectives within the designated portfolio, aiming for a 10% annual increase, and actively participate in the proposal and capture process.
  • Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of program managers, instilling a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, while providing guidance for their success.
  • Supervise the identification and mitigation of risks throughout engagements, ensuring timely corrective actions that align with strategic objectives.
  • Offer thought leadership and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery outcomes meet client expectations.
  • Spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing delivery processes, governance practices, and client engagement strategies, fostering greater efficiency and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 13 years of experience in program, portfolio, and governance management, with a demonstrable track record of managing large-scale engagements and building executive-level relationships.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex programs with significant budgets and strategic importance.
  • At least 10 years of experience in implementing governance frameworks, compliance, and risk management best practices.
  • Proven experience in overseeing the financial performance of major projects and portfolios.
