Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders within government entities, especially in the Federal Civilian domain (e.g., IRS, DHS, GSA, DOC).
- Act as the primary liaison for executive-level client relationships, guaranteeing client satisfaction, successful project delivery, and enduring partnerships.
- Oversee the successful execution of programs, ensuring high-quality delivery, adherence to timelines, and accomplishment of project milestones. Provide regular updates on portfolio performance to senior management, including quarterly assessments.
- Direct the implementation of established governance frameworks and integrated service management systems to ensure compliance, risk oversight, and effective project execution.
- Ensure the seamless integration of technological solutions into service delivery. Identify opportunities for leveraging existing technical assets within broader offerings and collaborate with product teams to foster growth and innovation.
- Administer the financial performance of programs and portfolios, ensuring alignment with financial objectives. Work alongside leadership to establish annual targets and conduct regular financial performance reviews.
- Collaborate closely with business development leaders to promote growth within the designated portfolio, aiming for a 10% annual increase. Participate actively in the proposal and capture processes to secure new business.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of program managers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Provide guidance to ensure teams are well-equipped for success.
- Manage the identification and mitigation of risks throughout engagements, ensuring timely corrective actions and alignment with strategic goals.
- Offer thought leadership and engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that delivery outcomes align with client expectations.
- Spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing delivery processes, governance practices, and client engagement strategies to drive efficiency and satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Over 13 years of experience in program, portfolio, and governance management, with a proven history of managing large-scale engagements and fostering executive-level relationships.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex programs with significant budgets and strategic relevance.
- Over 10 years of experience in implementing governance frameworks, compliance, and risk management best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing financial performance for major projects and portfolios.
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent).
- PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications.
