Job Overview

As the Director of Nursing (DON) at our esteemed nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional medical and clinical care. Our commitment to top-tier treatment across all levels of care includes detox, residential support, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient services. We are fully accredited, adhering to the highest industry standards, including JCAHO, CARF, and ASAM compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the provision of quality, compassionate, and timely medical care for all clients.
• Ensure effective coordination of client care across medical and clinical departments, involving the utilization review team, external healthcare providers, and pharmacies.
• Manage all facets of medication inventory and documentation, including logs, authorizations, lab shipments, and reports.
• Supervise nursing and medical support personnel, which encompasses interviewing, onboarding, training, retention, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain optimal medical workflow by conducting regular assessments of protocols and operational processes.
• Ensure the precision of medical documentation through weekly chart reviews.
  
  

Required Skills

• A valid RN licensure in the state or a compact licensure with multistate privileges (BSN preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by strong critical thinking capabilities.
• Proven collaborative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience in the substance use treatment field is preferred.
• 2-5 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
