Job Overview

We are in search of an accomplished and results-oriented Sales Director to spearhead our sales initiatives in the US/Bay Area. This critical position will concentrate on enhancing market share, cultivating client relationships, and driving substantial revenue growth. The Sales Director will be a vital member of our sales team, collaborating across various internal departments to ensure we meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Formulate and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targeted sales goals, increasing our market presence and adoption of cutting-edge technology in the US/Bay Area.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and sustain robust, long-lasting connections with key clients, understanding their requirements and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Execute sales strategies and initiatives aimed at optimizing contract revenue and boosting market penetration.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Discover new business prospects, overseeing the sales process from initial lead generation to deal closure.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Deliver precise sales forecasts and reports, analyzing data to pinpoint trends and potential enhancement areas.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure seamless alignment and foster customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our product portfolio and technological advancements to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, adapting strategies as needed to maintain competitiveness.
  • Travel: Engage in some domestic travel for customer meetings, industry events, and training sessions.
  • Achievement: Expected to successfully close at least one contract or deal within the first year of employment.

Required Skills

  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to forge and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Sales Acumen: Proficient analytical skills to identify market trends, forecast sales, and develop strategic initiatives.
  • IP Sales Process: Experience with managing the sale of intellectual property (IP) licenses, contracts, and royalty agreements.
  • Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to present information to diverse audiences.
  • Project Management: Proven experience managing intricate sales projects and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive and solution-focused approach to addressing challenges.
  • Multitasking: Competence in prioritizing responsibilities and managing several projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the semiconductor or technology industry, showcasing a proven record of surpassing sales targets.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with AI technologies and the semiconductor ecosystem is highly desirable.
