Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of strategic account management plans to engage clients, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Oversee a portfolio of significant accounts, prioritizing long-term satisfaction, retention, and growth opportunities.
- Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell possibilities within client organizations.
- Cultivate and nurture robust relationships with key decision-makers to synchronize on mutual objectives and explore future opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify new partnerships and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Partner with cross-functional teams to fulfill and exceed client expectations throughout their engagement lifecycle.
- Monitor and manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring successful implementation and client satisfaction.
- Facilitate post-sales operations, ensuring efficient onboarding processes and the attainment of success milestones.
- Address escalated issues and manage complex challenges while sustaining strong client relationships.
- Deliver regular account updates and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to evaluate client needs and performance metrics.
- Engage in planning for customer-centric events and feasibility studies, leveraging client success narratives to enhance marketing efforts.
- Generate detailed reports that illustrate customer performance and return on investment (ROI), analyzing outcomes to identify further value creation opportunities.
- Collaborate on metrics to bolster the company's growth strategy while refining account management processes.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in account management, customer success, or sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Background in life sciences, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), or similar fields.
- Proven track record in managing and growing key client relationships, demonstrating the ability to drive revenue.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in guiding and mentoring teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, engaging effectively with C-suite executives.
- Proficiency in case study development, ROI analysis, and executive reporting.
- Capacity to handle multiple priorities while contributing to both tactical and strategic initiatives.
