Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for homeowners, facilitating effective communication throughout the application and rebuilding process.
- Manage and maintain accurate case files in both electronic and paper formats, ensuring all homeowner information is current.
- Guide families through understanding program guidelines, application procedures, and subsequent steps.
- Conduct homeowner vetting and selection in alignment with program criteria, funding stipulations, and construction schedules.
- Document all interactions, maintaining detailed records of communications with applicants.
- Promote program outreach by engaging prospective applicants and coordinating community meetings.
- Organize dedication ceremonies and events that celebrate completed home projects.
- Assist in researching and preparing grant applications and compliance reports.
- Ensure adherence to grant compliance by tracking documentation, income verification, and construction milestones.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet all funding requirements and deadlines.
- Process and submit invoices and receipts related to program operations, maintaining financial records.
- Update databases with homeowner documents and application statuses.
- Review financial reports for accuracy and budget compliance.
- Support budgeting initiatives to promote cost-effective resource management.
- Aid in the development of community training programs focused on disaster recovery and rapid residential reconstruction.
- Foster partnerships with volunteers, donors, contractors, and community stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness.
- Aid logistical planning for seasonal home repair projects and ensure that all policies and procedures are current.
- Minimum of one year of experience in grant compliance or case management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
