Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate support, guidance, and comfort to families throughout all stages of the grieving process, managing visitations, funerals, and graveside services with professionalism and empathy.
- Perform essential duties including embalming, disinfecting, dressing, preparing, and casketing of the deceased, adhering to strict safety protocols and industry standards to ensure the dignified treatment of each individual.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation relevant to services, cremations, maintenance, and other pertinent records, ensuring the highest level of detail and care.
- Uphold the utmost respect and reverence for the deceased in all facets of the role.
- Exceptional communication skills paired with integrity and a sincere dedication to serving others.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and tact, particularly during challenging times.
- Must possess a valid Funeral Director/Embalmer license in Florida or have the capability to reciprocate licensing from another state.
