Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to both strategic planning and program development.
- Oversee all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, payroll, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate the finance team, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment that drives organizational success.
- Oversee revenue cycle management, ensuring the effective allocation of financial resources to align with organizational goals.
- Maintain compliance with governmental regulations including tax filings and grant management, while protecting the organization's financial assets and mitigating associated risks.
- Foster collaborative relationships with external stakeholders such as funding agencies and auditors to support our financial objectives.
- Manage financial aspects of grants, ensuring timely compliance with reporting and funding requirements.
- Spearhead the development of annual and departmental budgets, monitoring adherence and providing comprehensive financial reports to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Regularly present financial updates and analyses to the leadership team and Board, contributing to informed decision-making.
- Continuously assess and recommend investment opportunities and operational efficiencies that align with evolving organizational needs.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, Microsoft Office, and related technologies.
- Strong analytical capabilities paired with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills that allow for effective collaboration across teams.
- Meticulous organizational skills with a focus on accuracy in financial reporting.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent (CHFP preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership position, ideally within a non-profit or healthcare setting. Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) or Community Health Centers (CHC) is advantageous.
