Key Responsibilities
- Assist the GM in reaching gym membership targets and revenue goals, including private coaching sales.
- Drive the membership team to achieve key performance indicators, such as guest conversions and new member enrollments.
- Engage with prospective members, understand their aspirations, and inspire them to join by offering tailored solutions and transparent pricing.
- Assume responsibility for personal membership objectives and exemplify goal-oriented leadership.
- Collaborate with the GM to devise and implement strategies for weekends to enhance revenue and member retention.
- Manage MS scheduling to align staffing with operational needs and budgetary constraints.
- Lead weekend operations, ensuring cohesive teamwork focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Compile and present weekly and monthly performance reports to the GM and leadership, concentrating on financial outcomes and operational enhancements.
- Promote a fun, safe, and community-centric gym culture, aiming for high member satisfaction and profitability.
- Conduct regular gym walkthroughs to engage with members, gather insights, and identify areas for team development.
- Address elevated member concerns promptly, providing coaching and feedback to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment, assisting the team with tasks that enhance member experiences.
- Aid in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new Membership Specialists, building a strong and motivated team.
- Train and mentor the MS team in business generation, including lead acquisition and local promotional events.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to assess performance, set objectives, and provide guidance toward achieving both individual and collective goals.
- Proven experience in team management and achieving sales or membership objectives.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service.
- Proficiency in analyzing financial data, managing budgets, and driving revenue growth.
- Familiarity with standard office software and other computer tools.
- High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- 1-2 years of management experience, preferably in a fitness or customer-centric setting.
- 1-2 years of sales experience is highly desirable.
