Job Overview

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven individual for the position of Director of Global Strategic Accounts in the Dallas, Texas area. This critical role will involve close collaboration with the VP of Business Development, Regional Vice Presidents, and Account Executives to formulate and implement strategic initiatives designed to foster and sustain enduring relationships with our end-use clients. This position entails overseeing lead generation, market expansion, and the execution of approved business strategies for key accounts. The Director will manage a portfolio of 20-30 accounts while ensuring effective communication and collaboration across internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Team Leaders and Account Executives to identify and qualify target accounts, concentrating on key decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute tailored action plans for each account, integrating insights from relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with all pertinent teams regarding the progress and status of accounts throughout the business cycle.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with industry partners such as associations, contractors, architects, designers, property managers, and owners to create opportunities within target accounts.
  • Spearhead the establishment of new annuity accounts and focus on augmenting the value of existing accounts through effective contract management and service/product initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of competitive landscapes and market trends, understanding the competitive advantages and challenges inherent in the market.
  • Engage in industry events, trade shows, and other activities to foster relationships and support business development.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with strong presentation skills.
  • Proven capacity to develop and maintain robust relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketplace dynamics, including relationships with dealers, contractors, developers, and property owners.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate business development, specifically in engaging with end-use customers.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

The starting salary for this position ranges from \(130,000 to \)160,000 annually.
