This role is designed for an individual who is passionate about enhancing mental health care and is adept at managing a dynamic team dedicated to supporting individuals and families in crisis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Home-Based Crisis Intervention Program, ensuring the delivery of exceptional services.
- Facilitate team meetings and provide clinical mentorship to staff regarding individual cases.
- Offer direct supervision and support, including collaborative case reviews with team members.
- Engage with the community by representing the program at various events and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Step in to provide case coverage as necessary, ensuring uninterrupted care for clients.
- Work in close partnership with the Program Director to uphold program objectives and best practices.
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation expertise: adept at managing high-pressure situations with composure.
- Proficient in screening and assessment of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma.
- Strong skills in risk assessment utilizing tools such as the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale and Stanley-Brown Safety Plan.
- Experience with substance use screening through intervention models like SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment).
- Knowledge in family psychoeducation to empower families with essential resources.
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies, including Motivational Interviewing and Multi-System Coordination of Care.
- A licensed professional in one of the following disciplines:
- Licensed Psychologist
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT)
- Experience with assessment tools, data entry software, and electronic health record systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and organizational software.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and strong communication and leadership abilities.
