Key Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed participant records across multiple electronic platforms, documenting supportive services provided.
- Deliver case management with an emphasis on guiding participants towards self-sufficiency through employment.
- Plan and facilitate workshops, webinars, and job readiness initiatives to equip participants for various career opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Business Services team to align online educational activities with participants’ employment aspirations.
- Conduct pre/post-assessments to evaluate skills, aptitudes, and competencies of participants.
- Identify and implement job coaching, mentorship, and support services tailored to assist participants in overcoming employment hurdles.
- Ensure participants are adequately prepared for training and opportunities for career advancement.
- Analyze and utilize employer feedback to refine job coaching and career guidance strategies.
- Cultivate relationships with local businesses, advisory groups, and community organizations to broaden employment prospects.
- Research and disseminate information regarding post-secondary education and adult service options to enhance participant success.
- Develop strong connections with participants to explore their career interests and foster portfolio development.
- Provide individual and group support for navigating employment challenges.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Strong facilitation, public speaking, and guided learning capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Competence in leading learning processes and effectively engaging with diverse populations.
- Preferred: Associate's degree or higher in education, counseling, social work, or a related discipline.
- Accepted in lieu of a degree: High School Diploma/Equivalency plus 1-2 years of case management experience in human services, particularly in career counseling. Experience in data entry, counseling, staffing, or customer service will also be deemed relevant.
