Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the New York City Metro Area, focusing on IT services for governmental entities.
- Broaden IT offerings for existing clients while generating new business through referrals and proactive outreach.
- Analyze client requirements and propose suitable IT solutions to meet those needs.
- Prepare and present proposals, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and other essential documents.
- Represent the organization at industry trade shows, conferences, and related events.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term success.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews to highlight the value of additional IT services.
- Proficient in customer development, relationship-building, and strategic communication.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, technical teams, and executive management.
- Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Comprehensive understanding of current technologies, including network security, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Familiarity with government contracting practices and procedures.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of business development experience in the IT sector, specifically within the government domain (Public Sector, FED/SLED).
- Previous experience with technology service providers, IT Managed Service Providers, or IT Infrastructure Services firms is highly advantageous.
- Must be eligible to undergo a background check and/or secure a government work-related security clearance.

- Variable Pay: Performance-based commission and bonuses.
