Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business prospects in the New York City Metro Area, with an emphasis on IT Services for government entities.
- Enhance IT solutions for existing clients while generating new opportunities through strategic outreach and referrals.
- Assess client requirements and align suitable IT solutions to meet their needs effectively.
- Prepare and deliver critical documentation including proposals, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Represent the organization at industry events such as trade shows and conferences to elevate our profile within the sector.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Conduct regular client interactions to encourage open communication, address challenges, and provide preemptive solutions.
- Lead quarterly business evaluations to demonstrate the value added through our IT services.
- Proven expertise in customer development, relationship management, and strategic communication.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, technical teams, and management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary technologies, including network security, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity measures.
- Familiarity with government contracting standards and practices.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline. Additional IT certifications or technical sales training are advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT business development within the government sector (Public Sector, FED/SLED).
- Experience working with technology providers, IT Managed Service Providers, or IT Infrastructure Services firms is highly desired.
- Must be eligible to undergo a background check and/or obtain security clearance for government-related activities.

- Base Salary: \(100,000 - \)130,000, based on experience.
- Variable Pay: Performance-based commission/bonus.
