Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians and engineers, promoting professional development and excellence in service delivery.
- Oversee training on Microsoft technologies, including Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Azure, and Intune, ensuring the team remains current with industry advancements.
- Enforce cybersecurity best practices to protect client environments, including monitoring for vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
- Manage daily service delivery operations, including system monitoring, incident response, and proactive maintenance using RMM tools.
- Plan and execute a range of IT projects such as Microsoft 365 migrations and network architecture, while effectively managing client relations.
- Collaborate with key vendors, particularly Microsoft, to stay informed about emerging technologies and enhance service capabilities.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for client concerns, ensuring timely and professional resolution of issues.
- Continuously refine operational processes to improve service delivery and efficiency.
- Align IT strategies with broader business objectives in partnership with sales and leadership teams.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT service management, operations, or a similar role, preferably within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or IT services company.
- Proven track record in project management, including planning, execution, and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products, including Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Azure, and Intune.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity practices, RMM tools, backup solutions, cloud technologies, and network infrastructure.
- Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated capacity to manage technical teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with familiarity in vendor management and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001 considered a plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
- Industry certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365) and cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security , CISSP, CISM) are highly preferred.
