Key Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary service to both external customers and internal teams, ensuring an efficient and seamless customer journey.
- Manage incoming customer service calls and inquiries with professionalism and attentiveness.
- Accurately process and prioritize sales orders, service requests, and parts shipments to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Resolve order discrepancies effectively through strong communication with customers and colleagues.
- Offer regular updates and analysis on sales order statuses, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Handle returns and service parts credits, ensuring proper processing and documentation.
- Liaise with customers and vendors regarding service or part transactions, expediting orders when necessary.
- Collaborate with shipping teams to manage international shipping documentation and logistics.
- Track freight costs and address any discrepancies to ensure accurate billing.
- Coordinate the transfer of machines and parts across both domestic and international regions.
- 3-5 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably with a focus on sales order processing.
- An associate’s degree in Business (preferred).
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems, with experience in JD Edwards being a plus.
- Proficiency in software applications such as DocuSign and Salesforce.
- Advanced Excel capabilities for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of international trade procedures, incoterms, and export/import documentation.
- Experience with shipping software and data entry systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, adept at engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Associate’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
- A strong aptitude for process improvements and the ability to implement effective changes.
