Key Responsibilities
- Adopt a proactive stance in refining the accuracy and predictability of financial outcomes.
- Gather and scrutinize data for consolidated weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Partner with field leadership to formulate quarterly forecasts and evaluate business trends.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports, interpreting key data and aiding in management presentations.
- Supervise Financial Analysts to guarantee precision in deposits, property tax bills, and utility payments.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
- Conduct financial analyses to improve operational efficiency and uncover cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist with additional finance-related tasks as required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and job costing.
- Experience with financial software and accounting systems, particularly within real estate or homebuilding (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning & analysis, and accounting.
- Experience in the homebuilding sector is advantageous.
