Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of CPAP specialists, complex care coordinators, and respiratory therapists.
- Supervise daily operations to maintain high standards of patient care and professional excellence.
- Recruit, train, and cultivate team members while promoting a collaborative work culture.
- Deliver compassionate and effective care for patients with intricate respiratory needs.
- Partner with management to uphold rigorous clinical standards and provide a seamless patient experience.
- Collaborate with the Quality and Safety Manager to address patient safety issues and drive improvements.
- Spearhead the growth and enhancement of the CPAP program, elevating services and support for patients.
- Analyze referral trends and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Create educational materials to assist patients and their families in understanding their respiratory care plans.
- Support budget planning and monitor expenditures to ensure the optimal allocation of resources.
- Track productivity and ensure that the team achieves program objectives.
- Provide insights on staffing requirements and resource management for the program's success.
- Communicate program updates and essential information with staff and leadership.
- Foster open communication among teams to align goals and effectively address challenges.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a strong commitment to patient care.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience in clinical or homecare environments.
- Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative spirit.
- Familiarity with CPAP programs and respiratory care standards (NBRC, AARC, The Joint Commission).
- An Associate's degree in a relevant field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Valid RRT license.
- At least five years of experience in respiratory care.
