Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal contact for all project-related communications, effectively interfacing with government officials and contract representatives.
- Oversee and manage the execution of contract objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overarching mission goals.
- Supervise a diverse workforce, including skilled trades, administrative staff, and subcontractors, while providing mentorship and guidance.
- Ensure adherence to performance objectives, standards, and reporting requirements.
- Assume direct responsibility for profit and loss (P&L) management, environmental sustainability, and compliance with contract specifications.
- Lead strategic operations planning, specifically during contingency situations such as severe weather events, and ensure efficient execution during crises.
- Actively engage in business development efforts, fostering strong customer relationships and exploring new growth opportunities.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Comprehensive understanding of base operations and facility management principles.
- Experience with CMMS work order management and cost estimation software.
- Proven capability in managing a diverse workforce and sustaining effective stakeholder relationships.
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, supported by a minimum of five (5) years of experience in base support or facility management generating $15M in annual revenue (or equivalent experience).
- Previous work experience in a military setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS work order management systems and cost estimation tools is advantageous.
- Strong foundation in managing base operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and airfield operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing unionized workforces and understanding of government contracting policies and procedures.
- Proficient briefing and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in coordinating staff operations to achieve performance targets.
