Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, effectively engaging with government officials, contract representatives, and stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee the execution of contract objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with mission goals in collaboration with government teams.
- Supervise a diverse workforce, providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to skilled trades, administrative personnel, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with performance objectives and reporting standards.
- Take direct responsibility for profit and loss (P&L), environmental sustainability, and contract adherence.
- Lead operational planning, particularly for contingency scenarios, and ensure effective crisis management.
- Play an integral role in business development by nurturing customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, with adept briefing and presentation skills.
- Proven capability to manage and coordinate varied staff and operations to meet performance targets.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), particularly IBM Maximo.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Comprehensive understanding of base operations, including facility management and airfield operations.
- Experience in managing a unionized workforce and knowledge of relevant government contracting regulations.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, accompanied by five (5) years of experience in base support or facility management, overseeing revenues of $15M , or equivalent experience (20 years of experience may substitute for degree).
- Previous military environment experience is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) are advantageous.
- A Master's degree in engineering, construction management, or business administration is preferred.
