Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in extensive travel across the assigned territory to prospect and secure new business opportunities, focusing on small to medium-sized retailers and national accounts.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets, strategic objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Create and implement a comprehensive strategic prospecting plan, providing regular updates to your Regional Sales Manager.
  • Conduct impactful sales presentations and training sessions tailored to retail customers and national accounts.
  • Utilize Salesforce (CRM) effectively to manage customer relationships and monitor engagement.
  • Prepare business reports and submit expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues effectively.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Regional Vice President or Regional Sales Manager.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with a preference for candidates with a background in retail sales.
  • At least 2 years of experience in new business development (sales hunting).
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight trips.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

  • Proven track record in sales and business development, demonstrating the ability to cultivate new client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation And Benefits

  • First-year on-target compensation (base salary plus commission) ranges from \(105,000 to \)140,000, with uncapped commission potential.
