In this pivotal position, you will lead a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and ensure the delivery of exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Conduct initial nursing assessments within 24 hours of patient admission and ongoing reassessments during their stay.
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans that cater to the individual needs of each patient.
- Administer prescribed medications and perform medical treatments under physician guidance.
- Lead and manage efficient discharge planning for patients transitioning out of care.
- Ensure adherence to documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and external health and social agencies to create comprehensive care plans.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to nursing staff, fostering their professional growth.
- Assess staff performance, conduct evaluations, and ensure competency through ongoing training.
- Maintain high-quality care standards by adhering to therapeutic guidelines and evaluating health outcomes.
- Support operational effectiveness by managing clinical staffing and ensuring the functionality of equipment.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to navigate challenging scenarios.

- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is required.
- Active RN license in Alabama or a multi-state compact license.
