Key Responsibilities
- Assume the role of primary clinical leader, advocating for exemplary standards of patient care.
- Collaborate with executive teams and human resources to tackle operational challenges and staffing requirements.
- Mentor and uplift senior nursing personnel to enhance the quality of patient care.
- Ensure optimal staffing ratios and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory and rehabilitation departments, to maintain superior patient care.
- Manage fiscal responsibilities by overseeing budgets and controlling expenses without compromising care quality.
- Foster a supportive, respectful, and engaging workplace that prioritizes the well-being of all team members.
- Proficiency in ventilator management, hemodynamics, critical drips, endotracheal tubes, and wound care.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, strong problem-solving aptitude, and a steadfast commitment to quality patient care.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory.
- A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related healthcare field is required, or candidates may be enrolled in a Master's program (with potential exceptions to be approved by senior leadership).
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience within a hospital setting.
- Preferred: At least three years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Must possess an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
