Your leadership will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including administration, personnel management, financial oversight, facilities management, and business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Business Strategies: Implement the firm's strategic plans to attain quarterly revenue and profitability targets by efficiently managing all facets of the organization.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze data and metrics to assess overall performance and make informed decisions.
- Team Oversight: Direct non-lawyer support staff and vendors, overseeing the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and performance assessment processes.
- Policy Management: Ensure all firm policies and procedures are meticulously documented, organized, implemented, and regularly audited.
- Financial Guidance: Collaborate closely with the bookkeeping team to review monthly financial documents and oversee ongoing tax planning with CPAs.
- Team Development: Utilize best practices for managing various team structures, including in-person, remote, hybrid, and contract staff.
- Operational Security: Guarantee a fully functional and secure digital environment for the entire team.
- Risk Management: Conduct ongoing assessments to minimize potential risks.
- Project Leadership: Successfully design and manage projects by leveraging process owners and strategic tasks within set deadlines.
- Foster Positive Culture: Employ effective leadership strategies to cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere that retains talent and attracts top candidates.
- Proven success in managing a team of no fewer than 30 individuals, with the authority to hire and terminate.
- Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities within a senior management context.
- Expertise in crafting, monitoring, and reconciling budgets of $9 million or more.
- Proficiency in leveraging key financial reports to drive business outcomes.
- Effective project management skills across diverse initiatives.
- Comprehensive knowledge of leadership best practices and workflow systems.
- A degree in management, business administration, human resources, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience overseeing a professional services firm or a division of a mid-sized or large professional services entity, with an annual budget of at least $9 million (experience in a law firm is beneficial but not mandatory).
- SHRM or HRCI certifications are advantageous.
- Familiarity with ScalingUp methodologies is a plus.
