Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate comprehensive Operations activities within a high-volume Distribution Center.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to team members and front-line management.
- Manage departmental operating expenses, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
- Monitor and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Turnover.
- Improve customer service by addressing issues and collaborating with the Account Management team.
- Facilitate seamless transitions for new customers at the distribution center.
- Develop and uphold operational policies to ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Conduct root cause analyses to enhance team dynamics, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee talent development and succession planning within the department.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, acting as the Designated Representative as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Strong financial acumen with prior profit and loss responsibilities.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, capable of managing complex initiatives.
- Proven analytical abilities with experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Ability to drive organizational change and inspire team collaboration.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Self-sufficient with the capability to manage assignments independently.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain or warehouse operations, ideally within the healthcare or medical device sectors.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience focused on planning, communication, and team motivation.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
