Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and manage relationships with external contractors, negotiating service agreements for facilities maintenance, marketing, food services, and IT.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to define strategic goals and create budgets aligned with the organization's objectives.
- Develop and oversee a comprehensive facilities plan, including a five-year forecast to address maintenance requirements.
- Ensure that all operational functions comply with City, State, and Federal regulations.
- Manage the organization's IT needs, including website and social media oversight, to enhance outreach and communication.
- Supervise daily business activities across all locations, ensuring operational efficiency and maintenance of each site.
- Lead and mentor staff across various departments, fostering a culture of growth and providing constructive feedback.
- Regularly assess business processes, collect data, and implement enhancements to bolster operational efficiency.
- Evaluate financials and adjust operational budgets in partnership with the COO and CFO to drive profitability.
- Formulate and update policies to guarantee effective implementation throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and legal standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations role is required.
- Experience in facilities and food service management is highly desirable.
- Thorough understanding of industry regulations and legal guidelines is essential.
- Proficiency in IT systems (e.g., ADP, Blackbaud) is necessary.
- Previous experience in education or non-profit management is advantageous.
